We thank you for your booking and hope you enjoy your session at the Bark Park of Higham.

​

If you need to reschedule please ensure you do this within 12 hours of your allotted time slot.

​

Once a booking is confirmed no cancellations will be accepted only re-schedules.


Please take a moment to review the following terms and conditions prior to your arrival. Instructions for accessing the field are provided below as well.

 

Parking and Access

 

Field access is located – the What3Words link will direct you to the first  gate, ///grace.stones.dates

You can also use the postcode of ME3 7LH , please then continue past the national speed sign until you find the gate on the right.

​

Enter first gate, (please close and lock after you enter) field gate is then located 100 metres on the right down the track.

​

First Gate code is 5914, field gate code will be sent via text on the day

​

Parking is available inside the field. If you are bringing 2 cars, however, one car will need to park on the gravel just outside the field.

Ensure both gates and the padlocks are secure and closed at all times 

​

Field Rules

​

  • The Bark Park is a dog area and all Owners / Professional Walkers / Dog Handlers are solely responsible for themselves and their dog(s) at all times

 

  • The Bark Park does not accept any responsibility for loss or damage to vehicles whilst on the premises

 

  • Any damage to fencing, equipment, gates etc needs to be escalated to the owners on sight

 

  • Children are welcome to The Bark Park but anyone under 18 must be supervised at all times by an adult. Children are NOT permitted to climb the gate, fencing or any of the equipment in the field

 

  • Please ensure you pick up all your dog(s) poo and take home. Poo bags can be found around the fencing. Also please ensure that no personal rubbish is left in the field. 

 

  • Please ensure the field gate remains closed at all times, only let your dog out of your vehicle once gate is closed and that the gates are closed and locked as you leave

 

  • No smoking, vaping, use of illegal substances or consumption of alcohol is permitted in the field

 

  • Please ensure you only use the field for your allocated time slot

 

  • Dog Balls / Toys can be bought into the field but please ensure you take these home

 

  • Please do not bring any dog(s) to the field who are suffering from Sickness and / Diarrhoea or kennel cough

  • Digging is permitted in the sand pits only, if your dog digs elsewhere please could you refill the hole(s)

 

  • No BBQ’s or Fires are permitted in the field

Banned Breeds

​

Considering the government's recent announcement to place XL Bully type dogs on the DDA (Dangerous Dog Act), please read our additional Terms and Conditions for using The Bark Park of Higham

You will be covered to hire out The Bark Park of Higham for an XL Bully Dog and Dogs on the Dangerous Dog Act on the following basis:


1. The dog is registered with the Index of Exempted Dog (IED) and a copy of the Life Certificate is obtained and provided to us on booking, please email to info@barkparkofhigham.co.uk
2. A copy of the Public Liability Insurance Certificate for the dog is obtained and provided to us on booking, please email to info@barkparkofhigham.co.uk
3. The dog handler ratio is 1:1 with their handler at all times unless with other dogs from the same household
4. The dog is Neutered – in line with Government Rules
5. The dog is Micro Chipped
8. The dog is kept on a lead and muzzled until the gate is shut when entering the field
9. The dog is put back on a lead and muzzled before opening the gate to leave the field
10. You can remove the lead and muzzle once inside The Bark Park of Higham
11. If the household has more than 1 dog, they can come to the field together as long as they have a minimum of 1 handler. All dogs leads and muzzles can be removed once in the field including the XL Bully
12. If there are dogs from different households, the banned breed will need to remain muzzled and on a lead at all time with a 1:1 handler
13 If  the Exemption (IED) and Public Liability Insurance Certificates are not received 24 hours prior to booking, your booking will be cancelled.
